Affiliate Disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission from the retailer. You pay nothing extra — the price is the same as it would be if you had gone to the retailer directly.
Compensation does not decide our conclusions. We do not rank a product higher because it pays more, we do not remove criticism because a programme asked, and we do not accept payment for a favourable review. Where we cannot substantiate a manufacturer's claim, we say so — including for products we earn from.
How the disclosure appears
You should never have to go looking for this. On any page containing an affiliate
link, a disclosure block is inserted automatically above the first such link, by the
page template itself rather than by a writer remembering to add it. Every affiliate
link also carries rel="nofollow sponsored", which is the standard way of
telling search engines that a link is commercial.
Where affiliate links go
Affiliate links on this site are served through a /go/ address on this
domain, which records the click and then forwards you to the retailer. That record
exists so we can tell which comparisons people actually find useful. It does not
store your IP address — see the Privacy page for exactly what
it does store.
Current affiliate relationships
At the time of writing, none. The Evidence Stack has no active affiliate programme and earns no commission from any retailer. This page exists because the disclosure has to be in place before the first commercial link, not after it.
These relationships will change over time. As programmes are approved, links on product pages will begin to earn commission, and every page carrying one will show the disclosure above it automatically. We will not quietly start earning without saying so.
An affiliate link is not a claim of testing
Earning commission on a product says nothing about whether we have used it. Every product carries a separate label — Researched, Hands-On or Long-Term Tested — describing exactly what we did, and a commercial relationship never upgrades that label. See the Methodology page.
